Preparation:

Take 2 to 3 micro fiber towels and fold them into quarters (each towel will have 8 clean sides to work with). Determine starting point of vehicle ~ we recommend you work the car in sections, starting on the roof and then moving around the car (front, front right, hood, etc.)

Step one:

Choose a towel that will be used for cleaning and reserve a second towel to only be used for buffing. Spray the ‘cleaning towel’ until damp with either Freedom One or Freedom Original. Holding Bottle about 10-15 inches from the target area spray lightly across area using sweeping motion. Draw dampened ‘cleaning towel’ across are that has been sprayed allowing for wet-on-wet contact. Dirt will be lifted onto the towel as you gently wipe towel back and forth across the targeted area. Do NOT rub or scrub as dirt will adhere to towel without use of force or pressure. ** As ‘cleaning towel’ becomes dirty, refold to expose clean area of towel, as needed.

Step Two:

After wiping off dirt, return to the same area quickly and buff with the second towel, or ‘buffing towel.’ You should begin buffing while there is still a light haze of product on the surface area as this will result in a highly polished result, much like you get when waxing a car.

Repeat Steps 1-3 until the car surfaces are clean. To clean tires, spray on Freedom Complete Clean, wiping off with a regular cloth or terry towel. You do not need to use a micro fiber towel for this, as tires are very dirty and can ruin the towels. Apply Freedom Eco Tire Protectant after tire grime is removed.

Common Sense Tips:

1. When is a vehicle too dirty? If a vehicle has chunks of dirt, sand, or other nasty stuff, you will need to first remove these by either using water or pressurized air. Also, the more dirt on your vehicle the more product you will need to use.

2. Re-Use Towels: Micro fiber towels can be re-used! Machine wash using liquid detergent – no softeners! Use warm water and dry in delicate air cycle to maintain their quality.

3. Rule: if you drop a micro-fiber towel while in process of washing your vehicle, replace it! Do not ever use a towel that has hit the ground as particles of dirt may become embedded in cloth making it abrasive.

4. Heat: It is always best to wash your vehicle out of the direct sun. The Freedom products are water based, meaning they will evaporate if given the chance. If it is a hot day, make sure the vehicle is in the shade to allow the surfaces to cool a bit. And, in the heat, you will need to move more quickly between Steps One and Step Two.
